Billboard Music Awards 2022: conoce a los ganadores

Este domingo se llevó a cabo la entrega de los premios Billboard Music Awards 2022 en el Microsoft Theatre de Los Ángeles, California, donde se recibió a las estrellas más importantes del último año. Doja Kat, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo y The Weekend fueron los grandes ganadores. Mientras tanto, el puertorriqueño, Bad Bunny, se quedó con el premio a Mejor Artista Latino y Mejor Artista Masculino Latino.

Este año volvieron a sorprendernos con presentaciones de los grandes exponentes de la música.

The Weeknd era de los artistas que se perfilaban a ser uno de los máximos ganadores de los premios Billboard 2022. Contaba con 17 nominaciones en total, pero al final de la noche solamente se llevó el galardón de la categoría a Mejor artista masculino de R&B.

Después de él estaban los nombres de Doja Cat con 14 candidaturas; el intérprete de Donda, con 13; y Olivia Rodrigo, también con 13.

La organización del evento reveló antes de la ceremonia a los primeros ganadores de la noche de los premios Billboard 2022 y cuyos anuncios no fueron televisados.

En el primer corte se pusieron a la cabeza de triunfos Olivia Rodrigo y Kanye West, cada uno con seis reconocimientos. Les siguieron Drake, The Kid Laroi y Justin Bieber, cada uno con cinco; y Taylor Swift, con cuatro.

Conforme avanzó la noche figuraron nombres como los de Megan Thee Stallion y Morgan Wallen dentro de las estrellas que se hacían con sus propios reconocimientos. Sin embargo la que tomó ventaja fue Doja Cat, quien alcanzó en cantidad de premios a Taylor Swift.

Al momento de revelar a la ganadora en la categoría a Mejor artista femenina el júbilo estalló cuando se dijo el nombre de Olivia Rodrigo. Con siete premios en total Billboard la reconoció como una de las presentaciones más fuertes de un nuevo artista.
